Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale Team will kick off the season at European soil just like many other World Tour teams racing at the south of Spain. While this selection is lacking a big favourite for a win, quite a few names deserve a mention.
Andrea Vendrame is probably Decathlon AG2R's best shot at success. The experienced Italian gets well over hills and has a solid final kick. If the racing gets hard, he could be there and benefit. Similar type of rider is the 21-year-old Pierre Gautherat, who had a promising first year among pros in 2023.
