- That’s like, just your opinion maaan!
- Here's my take: Tadej Pogacar's 2024 season is widely regarded as the greatest in cycling history. He achieved a Giro d'Italia and Tour de France double and won the World Championships in Zurich with a decisive 100-kilometer attack. Pogačar further distinguished his season by winning Il Lombardia, making him the first rider in history to win two Grand Tours, two Monuments (Liège-Bastogne-Liège and Il Lombardia), and the World Championships in the same year.
His season was marked by 25 victories across 58 race days, all but one of his wins came at WorldTour-level races, with over half of his victories coming from the Giro and Tour de France. His dominance was evident in the margins: he won the Giro by nearly 10 minutes, the Tour by over six minutes, and claimed victories with margins as large as 3:16 at Il Lombardia. His wins were almost exclusively solo efforts, showcasing his attacking prowess and unmatched strength. Let's not forget Pogačar’s 81.1-kilometer solo in the Italian classic Strade Bianche, marked as one of the longest solo efforts at WorldTour level.
Cycling analysts have concluded that his 2024 campaign stands as the best ever completed by a professional cyclist, surpassing even legendary seasons by Eddy Merckx, Fausto Coppi, and Sean Kelly due to its combination of quantity, quality, and the unprecedented scope of achievements.
- Apparently NSN stands for Never Say Never, and is described as a sports entertainment company.
- Roubaix he was really close to this year already. And that was on a V4, Y1 is much faster, plus added experience for him, and the team
- Vuelta de Espana: easy ✅.
Milano-SanRemo (the most difficult for him) and Paris-Roubaix, maybe he has to wait the declination or a day NO of Mathieu VdP (maybe).
- It doesn't matter to cycling. This is a distraction.
- Who cares.
- Van Aert is still capable of transcendent performances. But the days of a man who could win sprint stages, mountaintop finishes, and time trials in a single grand tour appear to be over. That last crash in the Vuelta appeared to be one too many--ironic, since he wasn't taking big risks and it didn't look that bad. This is why I enjoy Pogacar's courageous exploits while they last. An era can end in a moment.
- The Christians voting for a very sinful man as their president thinking he is the second coming of Jesus is pretty hilarious and also that many of them lost their jobs due to his policies in the name of MAGA.
- Why does Hincapie hate Tadej Pogacar so much? He couldn't stand Pogi in 2024, when he was kicking everyones asss?
