Congratulations on the win, Quintana! What a pleasure to see him win for the first time in what feels like ages (looked it up: 4+ years!). Also, it’s good to hear the humanity of his message as people respond to the death of a colleague and fellow competitor.

The craziest thing is that cycling pundits are already talking of Seixas as being in the same league as Pogacar, who just a few months back, was considered untouchable and had already been given GOAT status. And this is when Seixas is just 19 and still improving, while Pogacar at 27 is (presumably) nearing his peak.

Seixas is a huge talent and alr a top 10 (maybe 5??) rider but I don't think he's of the calibre of pog or remco on the one day classics yet. Remco gets a lot of hate and achievements diminished all the time but he is still one of the greatest one day racers of our generation.

Great win, solid attack, and well deserved GC win as well. It's been a bit since Pogačar gave him the pink glasses and jersey, and he's doing what people thought he would, after that day. I hope this continues into the Giro!
