- It's a good thing that The G.O.A.T. isn't racing... cause it would be "boring."
- Pogi is also being attacked by the western hypocisy media, that he has three times fewer race days than Vingegaard? In those 11 days, Pogacar's opponents were Seixas, Wout van Aert, Pidcock, MVDP, Mads Pedersen and Remco. Vingegaards opponents were Lenny Martinez, Georg Stainhauser, ill Lipowitz, Felix Gall, Arensman and Hindley??? They cannot be within half an hour on the Tour. Why are so many people clowns?
- Exactly. Pogi is constantly under attack of the western media. If he was French, British, Belgian, Danish, Dutch or Italian... we would never see headlines like: “We will do everything so cycling continues to be monotonous” - UAE fire back at Tadej Pogacar dominance debate before Tour de France showdown."
PS: I can't stand the hypocrisy, the double standards, applying one set of rules for Pogi (he's ruining cycling because he's too good)... and completely different sets for other cyclists. Everyone should be ashamed.
- Dominance is differente tha monotonous.
Whe Michael Jordan DOMINATED basket, who did it find tedious?
NOBODY!
- When Lance won 7 straight Tour de France, didn't se any coments about monotonous. Same with Chris Frome, anda same With Induarin. So When did cycling not monotonous??? You are just Taded haters...
- True. But boy, it’s going to be one of the more exciting Dauphiné‘s we’ve had in a while.
(I know the name has changed. I point blank refuse to use it…)
- I wouldn’t be surprised! His contract is up this year, after all.
I wonder where he’ll go? I think Tao is a classic example of a rider being pushed into a leadership role when he was better suited as a super-domestique. Sure, he won a Grand Tour when everything fell into place, but the competition was one of the lowest I’ve ever seen, and I just don’t believe he was, nor is, anywhere near the level required to be the leader Ineos wanted him to be, or Lidl have tried to develop him into.
I like Tao, he was great in his prime, but I find it frustrating how, since the days of Froome, Ineos have struggled to buy a suitable comparable leader, and instead chose to develop a rider in-house who was never fit to win the likes of the TdF. Rodriguez is another example of this, and dare I say, Onley too (although they did buy him for an obscene amount).
- Tao Geoghegan Hart OUT!
- If you take Pog, Vingo out of cycling, it'd be soo very exciting 👍 - now it's boring as 💩
