- Don't underestimate altitude training. A simplified take is that it is blood doping with a healthy limit.
- For Roglič, working for Finn Fisher-Black is less humiliating than working for Lipo, Giulietto or Remco.
I predict Roglič will be Guangxi'd at the end of the season
- His ego and pride may not allow him to do that. He was a champion once and still thinks he can win. Cycling peak goes by in a blink of an eye.
- I agree. Drones are much better, you can really see their speeds. The only problem is that when you see riders going down a descent at 100 km/hr and you can see the speeds properly it can be nauseating. Human beings are not supposed to go that fadt
- Typical lazy French rider doped and still could not win a local 4th cat road race never mind a pro race. Bet Bernard Hinault is pulling his hair out with lack of French talent. Ifyou have evidence come forward or shutup shop.
- Psssst... you're just as stupid as anoymouscyclist. Don't tell anyone.
- I know that cycling is a very traditionalist, conservative sport, but it is high time that no camera motorbikes are used to broadcast races. Drones not only eliminate the problem of cheating/drafting but also provide much more spectacular shots. Especially with the emphasis on aero everything, clearly a bike running in front of Pogi (or anyone) makes a difference.
- It's hard to believe these numbers, when you consider that the top three or four guys are breaking records that past dopers like Armstrong and Pantani put up in the first place.
At least from my point of view, I now think you have to let it go and assume they are not doping until they are caught doing something. I hope they aren't, but all the doping talk every year takes away from the beauty and suffering of cycling. Let them race until they are caught, if they ever are.
- In a race like the Tour de Romandie, it is far better for their image for Tadej Pogačar to win. The image of the greatest modern road cyclist raising his arms in the yellow jersey does much more good than Paret-Peintre or Roglič winning from the breakaway. And Pogačar knows that, which is why he is going out of his way to win as many stages as possible. Good lad.
- Both things can be true. UAE can be a nasty little regime at the same time as USA can be vying for a podium in the biggest global war criminal competition.
