Sebastian Berwick (Caja Rural - Seguros RGA) has sealed overall victory at the Presidential Cycling Tour of Turkee 2026 after safely navigating the final stage in Ankara, where
Tom Crabbe powered to victory in a fast bunch sprint.
Holding a slender five second advantage over Ivan Sosa at the start of the day, the Australian climber and his
Caja Rural - Seguros RGA squad ensured that there would be no late drama, controlling the race throughout the flat finale to secure the general classification triumph with comfort.
Despite a briefly tense moment earlier in the stage when Iván Ramiro Sosa appeared distanced from the peloton, the situation quickly stabilised before any gaps could develop. From there, the race settled into a controlled rhythm, with Caja Rural - Seguros RGA and other sprint-focused teams keeping the pace high and the breakaway within reach.
As the kilometres ticked down, it became clear the overall standings would remain unchanged, allowing Berwick to ride through the closing stages protected in the bunch and secure the biggest victory of his career.
Crabbe delivers in chaotic sprint finish
Up front, the day’s breakaway of Tim Marsman, Eivind Broholt Fougner and Byron Munton held out deep into the finale, but was finally swept up inside the final two kilometres as sprint trains took full control.
That set the stage for a high speed dash to the line, with Team Flanders - Baloise perfectly positioning Crabbe in the closing metres. The sprint was launched by Stefano Oldani, but Crabbe timed his effort to perfection, surging clear in the final straight to take the stage win and cap off a strong week.
Behind him, the peloton thundered across the line in a tightly packed finish, bringing an end to eight days of racing in Türkiye.
