- To me the intriguing question right now is how Jonas cracked the Pogi code to match him in explosivity on even the steepest hills in the short time between the Dauphine and the Tour. For all his impressive new muscle, he could not keep up with Pogi in the Dauphine, now he is suddenly doing it with ease.
- They know that Pogi is rationing his energy for top performance at the Classics, Tour and then Vuelta. Perhaps it's a matter of being fresher rather than having more endurance. (Though Visma also favour the greater endurance line because it puts Pogi under pressure.)
- Pogi seems like a great guy but so do many of the Visma riders. Friends met Wout on a ride in Spain and said he was ultra-nice.
- At least he has a higher Vo2Max than Pogi (97)
- Pogi is among the nicest people in the peloton. Visma is a team of social misfits.
- All these dopers yapping and no one listening!
- Tadej Pogačar won the Tour de l'Avenir in 2018. So shut up!
- Keep in mind that Tadejs boss is the current UAE chief Mauro Gianetti, who was at La Francaise des Jeux in 1998, the year of Gianetti's infamous and apparently doping-induced brush with death in the Tour of Romandy. Mauro Gianetti is considered as the Czar of doping in cycling.
- yes, the conclusion is Tadej is legit. if he was average or slightly better, then he had 10% to improve. as opposed to remco who came in with world titles, had less to improve. and don’t forget, Tadej started winning very early. this is a bad headline and argument
- they think he has greater endurance, and Alberto believes he does. based on??? they are wearing themselves out as much as they are wearing out Tadej and UAE.
