Which team has won the most national championships in 2024? Full list, with Lidl-Trek winning the most

It's Monday morning after the national championships and it's time to give an outlook on what has happened over the past week. Although a few races took place before June, most nationals were on the road over the past few days and in the men's field, it was Lidl-Trek who racked the most victories.

The American team had the best run in the nationals this year taking seven gold medals. Ryan Gibbons won both time-trial and road race in South Africa; Natnael Tesfatsion and Amanuel Ghebregzabhier won the races in Eritrea; whilst the team won time-trial titles in Denmark (Mattias Skjelmose), Czech Republic (Mathias Vacek) and Netherlands (Daan Hoole).

UAE Team Emirates were the second best team in terms of gold medals, although in total it brought in many more. Domen Novak won the Slovenian road race whilst in the time-trial events they won no less than five events: USA (Brandon McNulty), Belgium (Tim Wellens), Portugal (António Morgado), Germany (Nils Politt) and Austria (Felix Grossschartner).

EF Education-EasyPost and Team Jayco AlUla took five gold medals; INEOS Grenadiers won four; several teams then won three races but with a special note for BORA - hansgrohe that had five runner-up positions over the nationals.
