Rotunno has made it clear that he is not suffering any serious injury beyond the classic abrasions caused by the impact with asphalt and that Pogacar's start tomorrow is normally not under any doubts.
Thus he can expect the Slovenian to ride the first high mountain stage in the Pyrenees with the finish at the mythical Hautacam pass in (almost) top shape.
This is what he said in statements reported by TNT Sports:
"After a thorough examination after the stage, fortunately Tadej did not suffer any serious injuries. He has no concussion or fractures. He has some general bruising and abrasions to her left forearm and hip, but is otherwise fine. We will continue to monitor him, but at this time he is medically cleared to continue competing."
We will keep you informed about Tadej Pogacar's physical condition in case there is any news.
