The UCI WorldTour team ranking closes the 2026 season with UAE Team Emirates - XRG at the top and several significant changes further down the standings. The Emirati squad finishes the year on 30,982.1 points, ahead of Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe, on 25,464.59, and Team Visma | Lease a Bike, third with 23,129.25. Decathlon CMA CGM completes the top four, while Movistar Team ends the first year of the three-year cycle in 13th place with 10,778.1 points.
The latest update also brings important movement among teams looking to establish themselves in the top tier and those aiming to finish in the top 30. Lotto Intermarché climbs to 16th, Cofidis moves into 18th, and Euskaltel-Euskadi closes the season in 28th, two places ahead of MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort.

UAE ends the year as clear leader

There is little change among the leading teams at the top of the standings. UAE Team Emirates XRG retains a commanding first place, with a lead of more than 5,500 points over Red Bull-BORA-hansgrohe. The German team finishes second, while Visma - Lease a Bike holds third with 23,129.25 points.
Decathlon CMA CGM finishes fourth on 20,663.32 points, ahead of Lidl-Trek, which takes fifth with 19,361.68. XDS Astana Team is sixth, while Bahrain Victorious and Netcompany INEOS complete the top eight.
The main change in the top 10 concerns Uno-X Mobility and Soudal Quick-Step. The Norwegian squad rises to ninth with 12,725.63 points, while the Belgian team slips to 10th with 12,458.28. Alpecin-Premier Tech holds 11th place.

Movistar Team finishes 13th as Pinarello-Q36.5 gains ground

Movistar Team closes 2026 in 13th place with 10,778.1 points. The Spanish squad drops one position from the previous update, despite increasing its points total. The progress of its direct rivals explains the change: Pinarello-Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team climbs to 12th and finishes ahead of the Spanish team with 10,863.5 points.
The Swiss team makes one of the most notable gains in this section of the standings, moving from 15th to 12th. Movistar also finishes ahead of Jayco-AlUla, 14th with 10,724.54 points, and EF Education-EasyPost, 15th with 10,710.27.
The gaps between several of these teams are small. Movistar leads Jayco AlUla by just 53.56 points, while EF Education-EasyPost finishes 67.83 points behind the Spanish squad. The figures underline how closely contested this part of the ranking was at the end of the season.
Lotto Intermarché also makes its mark, climbing to 16th with 10,478.33 points. Tudor Pro Cycling Team drops to 17th, while Cofidis completes the top 18 on 9,740.36 points. NSN Cycling Team is 19th, followed by Groupama-FDJ United.

Enric Mas finished second at Il Lombardia 2026.

Cofidis finishes in the top 18 as Lotto Intermarché climbs

The top 18 deserves particular attention because the ranking includes both WorldTour and ProTeam squads. In this update, Cofidis occupies the final place in that group, while NSN Cycling Team, despite holding a WorldTour licence, finishes 19th.
The annual ranking should be distinguished from licence allocation. A team’s position in the 2026 standings reflects the points it accumulated during the season, but does not by itself determine all of its sporting rights for the following year.
Behind NSN and Groupama-FDJ United, TotalEnergies sits 21st and Unibet Rose Rockets 22nd. Caja Rural-Seguros RGA, Burgos Burpellet-BH, Team Polti VisitMalta, Solution Tech Nippo Rali and Equipo Kern Pharma fill places 23 to 27.

Euskaltel-Euskadi finishes among the top 30 teams

The standings also bring a positive finish for Euskaltel-Euskadi, which climbs to 28th place with 2,912.26 points. The Basque team finishes ahead of MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort, which drops to 29th on 2,879 points, and Team Picnic PostNL, which rounds out the top 30 with 2,822 points. The Spanish squad will therefore be able to target invitations to the Grand Tours in 2027.
Euskaltel-Euskadi improves on its position from the previous week, when it sat 29th. Its lead over Team Picnic PostNL is now 90.26 points, while it is 33.26 points ahead of MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort.
Bardiani CSF 7 Saber narrowly misses out on the group, finishing 31st with 2,694.15 points. Li Ning Star is 32nd, and Roojai Insurance Winspace occupies 33rd place.
