Van Aert has two monuments, not none. I can understand forgetting that he won San Remo in 2020, but what sort of cycling "journalist" could forget this year's Paris-Roubaix?15-08-2026 23:18

"Good, they're dropping some mid-pack riders to make way for a couple of marquee signings... oh, they're just replacing them with more mid-pack riders, and older ones at that" My thought process on reading this article. The day Arensman decides to leave and Ganna retires (and I don't think those days are very far away) Ineos are going to be in real trouble. Letting Carapaz and Martinez go in recent years looked stupid at the time and is only looking worse now.03-08-2026 00:34

Yates to Groupama would make a lot of sense after Pinot's retirement. It would let Gaudu move out of a leadership role which he doesn't seem suited for, as well as giving them a decent shot at a Giro or a Vuelta title. I'm honestly surprised that Ineos is off the table. For me, they're the team he would likely perform best at.09-06-2024 12:22

It's not impossible - Geraint Thomas took a long time to mature into a GT winner and if there's a team that can help Pidcock get there, it's Ineos. That being said, I feel he's more likely to end up as a Romain Bardet or a Rigoberto Uran - a stage hunter and a rider you can never quite count out, but not one to back for wins in the biggest races.17-04-2024 10:06
