Tour de France: How the GC stands after Hindley's raid and Vingegaard's attack on first mountain stage

The first mountain stage in the Tour de France 2023 and widespread destruction in the peloton and in the general classification. Jai Hindley filtered into the day's breakaway and ended up winning solo to become the new race leader. Jonas Vingegaard left Tadej Pogacar behind after a single attack and takes 1:04 minutes from him after an explosive attack on the Col de Marie Blanque.
Men like Giulio Ciccone or Emanuel Buchmann who were also in the breakaway of the day advance positions. Adam Yates loses the yellow jersey, but is just ahead of his leader Tadej Pogacar in the general classification as the Slovenian dropped back in the final kilometers. Closing the top 10 are men called to fight for the podium as Simon Yates, Mattias Skjelmose, Carlos Rodriguez and David Gaudu. Michael Woods and Mikel Landa fall out of the top 10 after a strong few first stages.
