VIDEO: Jonas Vingegaard's brutal attack on Tadej Pogacar at the Col de Marie Blanque

Stage 5 of the Tour de France is the first day in the high mountains, and Jonas Vingegaard alongside Jumbo-Visma have set the race on fire as he rode away from Tadej Pogacar at the Col de Marie Blanque.

The 7-kilometer long climb featured incredibly steep gradients towards it's summit, where Sepp Kuss set up a move from the defending champion. With just over 19 kilometers to go, Vingegaard launched his first attack of the race, dropping Pogacar immediately on the road. Ultimately, the attack ended up with 1:04 minutes won by Vingegaard at the finish line to the main GC group.
