Adam Yates continues to lead the Tour de France after the second stage, although both his brother Simon Yates and Tadej Pogacar have utilised the bonus seconds on offer to close the gap at the top of the general classification.
The Slovenian managed to be the fastest at the top of Jaizkibel and finished third at the finish line, rising to second in the new GC courtesy of the bonus seconds taken. With Simon Yates in third, fourth overall is Victor Lafay, the winner of the second stage. From behind, the Jumbo Visma of Wout van Aert and Jonas Vingegaard appear.
22 seconds away continues the group that has not received a bonus, made up of Michael Woods, Mattias Skjelmose, Jai Hindley, Mikel Landa (who enters the top 10), Carlos Rodríguez, David Gaudu and Wilco Kelderman.
