Stage 16 of the
Tour de France 2025 had everything. Thanks to the final stage, the mythical Mont Ventoux, spectators were able to enjoy battles on all fronts. While the stage was contested in the breakaway and Tadej Pogacar was dueling for the overall with Jonas Vingegaard,
Primoz Roglic put in the best performance of his entire Grande Boucle so far.
The veteran
Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe rider finished the stage in 9th position, topping Mont Ventoux in a time that, in turn, allowed him to move up one place overall and overtake Kevin Vauquelin. Roglic is now 5th, and can even dream of climbing further in the Alps.
