The Australian national championships kick off the action in the 2024 season. Team Jayco AlUla have dominated the men's individual time-trial with Luke Plapp taking the gold in his debut, whilst Grace Brown defended her title in the women's field.
Plapp was the fastest out of four Team Jayco AlUla riders against the clock. The home World Tour team had a grip of the race, but Plapp has taken another national title. He beat Chris Harper by 33 seconds and Michael Hepburn by 55.

In the women's race Grace Brown successfully took another win, having an only 7-second margin over Brodie Chapman. Wrapping up the podium was Georgie Howe.
