This year, Vanhoucke found a success at French 1.1 races, finishing third at the Mercan'Tour Classic (1.1), 4th at Classic Grand Bessancon Doubs and 5th at Tour du Jura, against a rather fierce competition. In addition, he was 6th overall at the Tour de Hongrie (2.Pro) and 16th at the WT Tour de Romandie.
"I am really happy to join
Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. I think it is a great opportunity with a team that has a lot of potential, and I am grateful for the confidence they have in me and our plans for the future together. My goals for the future are to perform well in stage races and aim for the general classification, starting with one-week stage races like the Tour de Romandie and the Tour de Suisse, two races that I know have a special importance for the team," said the Belgian.
"We are thrilled to welcome Harm Vanhoucke to our team," said Q36.5 Pro Cycling General manager Doug Ryder. "He has established himself as an exceptional climber, consistently delivering top results at top-level races such as the Giro d’Italia, where he took two stage podiums. His arrival will significantly boost our general classification ambitions, and at 27, he is entering the prime of his career. We look forward to seeing how Harm contributes to our shared goals for 2025 and beyond."
