Roglic arrives in Turin as the most proven option in the Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe lineup. The Slovenian remains one of the peloton’s most dangerous riders on steep uphill finishes and already has a history with this race, having previously won
Milano - Torino on the Superga climb. Even at this stage of his career, his explosive acceleration in the final kilometre makes him a rider few rivals will want to face in a reduced group on the finishing ascent.
Alongside him, Pellizzari represents one of the most exciting young climbers in the WorldTour and has already shown strong form in the early part of the 2026 season. The Italian recently finished on the podium at Tirreno-Adriatico, underlining both his climbing strength and his growing confidence against established GC riders.
That combination gives Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe genuine tactical flexibility on the decisive climbs. Pellizzari has the ability to attack early on the first ascent of Superga, potentially forcing rivals to chase, while Roglic’s finishing kick remains a major weapon if the race comes down to a small group on the final climb.
The team has selected the following seven riders for the 2026 edition of Milano-Torino:
Several riders in the lineup bring additional climbing strength, reinforcing the team’s intention to shape the race on the decisive Superga ascents. Riders such as Finn Fisher-Black, Frederik Wandahl and Ben Zwiehoff all provide valuable support on steep terrain, while younger riders Adrien Boichis and Luke Tuckwell add further depth to the squad.
With the double ascent of Superga expected to once again determine the outcome of cycling’s oldest race, Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe will hope their combination of experience and emerging talent can give them the upper hand in Turin.
