The
Giro d'Italia presentation took place this Wednesday afternoon in Albania where the race will begin, and al of the race's headliners were present. For the next three weeks we will have a luxurious list of riders fighting for the wins through the mountain, hills, sprints and time-trials.
We've learnt quite a bit over the past few days already since the riders arrived to the eastern European nation such as
Wout van Aert's recent illness,
Primoz Roglic's lack of recon of the mountain stages and
Juan Ayuso's revelation that in 2024 he had already planned on leading UAE Team Emirates - XRG at the Giro, before Tadej Pogacar made the decision to race both Grand Tours. There are a lot of riders with a point to prove in this Giro, and new faces who are looking to take over. All the pictures below are from
