TotalEnergies have revealed their team for the
Tour of Flanders. The expectations are more modest this year, but the French team can still dream of a strong result as it brings in
Anthony Turgis,
Peter Sagan and
Dries van Gestel.
Sagan had looked sharp early in Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne, but unfortunately for the former World Champion that was the only moment in which he showed competitiveness over the cobbles. The 2016 winner hasn't found his best form, abandoning the E3 Saxo Classic whilst riding to 83rd at Gent-Wevelgem.
Anthony Turgis, who rode to ninth at Milano-Sanremo is the most realistic option for the French team.
