The World Championships already take place within the next month and some national teams have already made their decisions on who will be racing. The Netherlands is one of those, having already selected their lineups for all categories in search of medals.
Most notably, for the men's Elite road race they will be having
Mathieu van der Poel as their most likely leader in Glasgow, whilst Olav Kooij and
Dylan van Baarle present alternatives for different race scenarios. Daan Hoole and Jos van Emden will race the time-trial.
As for the women's event the team comes in as big favourite bringing in four of the main favourites for the rainbow stripes in
Demi Vollering,
Lorena Wiebes,
Annemiek van Vleuten and
Marianne Vos. Vollering will also be seeking the victory in the time-trial event.
