Morgado, Sivakov, Cosnefroy - The men that will be racing in the UAE Team Emirates - XRG jersey at the Challenge Mallorca

The Challenge Mallorca 2026 will once again be one of the major launchpads of the international season, and UAE Team Emirates-XRG will line up with a well-balanced blend of proven experience and emerging talent.

The Emirati squad has confirmed its rosters for the five races that make up this historic January series, alternating WorldTour leaders with riders from the so-called Gen Z (its U23 development team).

The action begins on Wednesday, 28.01.2026 with the Trofeo Calvià and runs without pause through Sunday, 01.02.2026, when the Trofeo Palma brings the week to a close. In between, the peloton tackles the Trofeo Ses Salines, the Trofeo Serra Tramuntana and the Trofeo Andratx – Pollença, shaping a varied route that mixes fast terrain, mid-mountain and more demanding days.

For UAE Team Emirates-XRG, the Challenge Mallorca is more than a simple tune-up. It is a chance to race to win from day one while offering an ideal environment for developing riders to bank kilometers, experience and responsibility at the highest level. That philosophy is clear in the announced line-ups.

Throughout the week, established names such as Benoît Cosnefroy, Nils Politt, Pavel Sivakov, Marc Soler, Félix Grossschartner and Rui Oliveira will share the spotlight with riders expected to grow within the structure.

Development is also a core priority. Young riders Marcos Freire, Moritz Mauss, Ugo Fabries and Jaime Torres will feature in several races, integrating into WorldTour dynamics and providing support to the leaders on each course. It is a clear bet on mixing generations within the same competitive stage.

From the team car, sports directors Tomas Gil and Simone Pedrazzini will take responsibility for coordinating the different rosters and managing an intense week with five consecutive days of racing.
