Prologue

Nothing to note.

Stage 1

It wasn't a great day for the Brits in Romandie as former Giro d'Italia winner Tao Geoghegan Hart was a DNS at the start of the day, and then INEOS Grenadiers' GC leader Oscar Onley abandoned early on stage 1 through illness. There was just the one further DNF with Hamish McKenzie also out of the race.

Stage 2

Three further withdrawals occurred on stage 2 with former US national champion Sean Quinn a DNS at the start of the day and both Mauro Schmid and Mattia Gaffuri stepping off on the stage itself.

Stage 3

A slow start to the season for Team Picnic PostNL continued on stage 3 in Romandie as two of their riders, Warren Barguil and Dillon Corkery, were forced out of the race. They weren't the only ones either with NSN's former Israeli national champion Itamar Einhorn also departing.
