Mark Cavendish to lead Quick-Step Alpha Viny in Tour of Pologne

Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl has revealed their team for the Tour of Pologne. Mark Cavendish will be leading the team.

Cavendish has raced twice previously in the Tour de Pologne, with his best result a sixth place on a stage in 2019. He will be riding for the first time since the British Championship, which he won at the end of June. Cavendish will try his best in sprints to secure stage victories. Mauro Schmid and Mauri Vansevenant will be aiming for GC .

Vansevenant will be racing for the first time sincethe Giro d'Italia. Schmid rode the national championships in June after winning the Tour of Belgium. Bert Van Lerberghe, Zdenek Stybar, Rémi Cavagna, and Josef Cerny will be responsible for providing all the necessary support to Cavendish.
