The World Tour peloton will be back to stage-racing into the final part of the season, as from the 30th of July to the 5th of August the best teams in the world will be riding the Tour de Pologne for a set of races that suit the sprinters and the classics riders.
The overall classification will, as usual, be the main financial factor in the race, with the winner taking in €14.000 for the overall win, followed by €7000 and €3500 by those who complete the podium - prizes usually split between riders and team staff. Each stage win will earn the rider €4000, giving a total of €28.000 to be split between the riders that win all seven stages, a major boost to the teams looking for stage wins instead of the GC.
