Sure, for most riders at RvV it's impossible to compete with him, but MvdD isn't most riders. Pog may be the strongest ever, but you're still allowed to use tactics to try and increase your odds. - A lot of retrofitting of hypotheses to the data going on in Horner's account. The five top guys were all racing to win and only found out they couldn't hold on to Pogacar when they were dropped.
