INEOS Grenadiers' Dylan van Baarle is one of the most complete riders in the peloton currently and he is reported to be getting several offers for the coming seasons. It is believed that Jumbo-Visma is deep into negotiations with the Dutchman, which would make for a hard hit for the British team.
As reported by AD, the Dutchman - like Jan Tratnik - is also in advanced negotiations with Jumbo-Visma in an effort to bolster the team's classics squad, one which has been thriving in this classics season with Wout van Aert, Christophe Laporte and Tiesj Benoot's presence. It is also said that van Baarle currently has offers from UAE Team Emirates, but also from his current INEOS Grenadiers team where he has been a crucial piece since 2018.
During his time as a pro, van Baarle has cut himself out to be a classics rider which has often seen him in the battle for the highest-level cobbled classics. Having finished several times in the top places at Tour des Flandres, recently he has done a career-best by finishing second behind only Mathieu van der Poel. Last year he was runner-up at the Leuven World Championships, after in the spring having won Dwars door Vlaanderen whilst getting Top10 places in all three cobbled classics he participated in.
Away from the cobbled classics he's also had success in stage-racing where he's won the Tour of Britain and Herald Sun Tour, in the time-trials where he has in 2018 became national champion, and as a reliable domestique and road captain. Hence, it is no surprise to see the large-scale interest in the 29-year old who is viewed as one of the peloton's most valuable riders.
