Is the Tour de France in danger for Primoz Roglic after the fall in Dauphiné? "I fell on the operated shoulder, I'll have to take a look at it"

Primoz Roglic has been involved in the massive fall of the fifth stage of the Criterium du Dauphiné along with other favorites of the race as Remco Evenepoel and Juan Ayuso. The Slovenian was suffering from shoulder pain in an image offered by Eurosport during the transmission and after the stage he regretted that, having taken the blow in an area operated on a few years ago.
"I fell on my shoulder, which is not the best thing. I had surgery on that shoulder a few years ago, so I'll have to take a look at it. But other riders have been in worse situations today and it's really annoying. I have to see the doctor," he said in a post-race interview
The BORA - hansgrohe leader is still second in the general classification behind Remco. Obviously, what matters least to him with these statements is Dauphiné, what he wants is to arrive fit and healthy to a Tour de France 2024 in which he has high hopes. Let's hope that his visit to the doctor doesn't bring him any bad news and that he only gets a scare and a shock from the fall.
The incident occurred 20 kilometers from the finish line. A few of the top teams were at the head of the peloton in a nervous section, this together with the fact that Decathlon and Lidl were already pulling for their sprinters and a downhill marked by constant rain, ended up causing the crash: there is no room for everyone and as soon as the road narrows during a downhill lately too many incidents are occurring.
Let's hope that Primoz, Remco and Juan are nothing, as well as the rest of the riders involved and who could reach the finish line neutralized. Roglic maintains his second place in the overall classification.
