Iván Romeo has won the Spanish road race national championships ahead of the Tour de France and in Great Britain it was Samuel Watson to conquer the title for INEOS Grenadiers in what were the last two main races of this 'Super Sunday'.
In Great Britain Samuel Watson managed to take advantage of a late attack to take a solo win in Aberystwyth, as Matthew Brennen sprinted to second place behind.
In Spain Iván Romeo, after a defeat in a very controversial time-trial in Sierra Nevada where there were issues with the timing chips, has managed to take revenge and win the title with a solo attack. In Slovenia Jakub Omrzel, the nations new supertalent, has won the national title after winning the under-23 Giro.
