Rory Townsend won the Irish
national championships; Toms Skujins won in Latvia; Madis Mihkels won in Estonia... But we bring a new update featuring the winners of five big countries: Denmark, Norway, Portugal, Switzerland and Germany.
In Norway it didn't come as a surprise, but the Uno-X Mobility riders completely swarmed the race and took the victory with
Andreas Leknessund, joined by the Halland Johannessen brothers in the podium. Out of the first 12 riders, 11 were from the Norwegian team, with only Tobias Foss breaking the chain with a 7th place.
In Portugal
Ivo Oliveira took the national title, taking his fourth pro win in the space of two and a half months - even more impressive taking into consideration his first pro win was only in April. In Germany
Georg Zimmermann of Intermarché - Wanty won a four-man sprint against Felix Engelhardt.
In Denmark Lidl-Trek dominated the race and after Mads Pedersen won the time-trial, he helped teammate
Soren Kragh Andersen to take the Danish title - whilst Casper Pedersen finished third. In Switzerland
Mauro Schmid revalidated his title, outsprinting Marc Hirschi to win in Fischingen.
