Gonzalo Serrano describes Movistar Team's year as "a very good season"

Gonzalo Serrano has been interviewed by the colleagues of the AS newspaper and has talked about his 2023 season with Movistar Team. A season that he has described as positive.

"It has been a good season. I managed to win and that's always nice and never easy. I have not finished as I would have liked because of some health problems I had when I came back from Belgium. I would have liked to do the Italian classics season at the same level I was there, but it has not been possible because of health. I'm thinking about next year and getting back in shape," he confessed.

When asked about the key to his success, he was very clear: "When I work, the results come. Insist, insist and keep insisting".

Finally, he believes that the fall of Enric Mas has conditioned a Movistar Team season that he describes as "very good": "Enric's fall has hurt us in both the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. The season for a team that is destined to be ahead in the grand tours seems worse than it is. In general, I think it has been very good.
