As the race develops, this page will track every major movement in the battle for pink, ciclamino, azzurro, and white.
From Jonas Vingegaard’s Maglia Rosa challenge to Jonathan Milan’s fight for ciclamino, this page will follow every major standings change across all four jersey competitions throughout the 2026 Giro d’Italia.

General Classification Standings after Stage 7

The Blockhaus didn't allow for anyone to hide, and the gaps were big. Jonas Vingegaard took the stage win, and cut almost all of the gap back to pink jersey Afonso Eulálio. The Portuguese rider defended himself well and remains the leader of the Giro, with 3:17 over Vingegaard.
Felix Gall is only 17 seconds behind the Dane, a gap that does not give Visma safety yet - although this is expected to increase a lot in the time trial next week. Jai Hindley is ahead of Giulio Pellizzari, closely followed by a Ben O'Connor who showed his best legs on the first summit finish of the race.
Mathys Rondel, Giulio Ciccone, Thymen Arensman and Michael Storer complete the Top10.

Points Classification Standings after Stage 7

Although it was not a day for the sprinters, it was not a day with no action in this classification. Without being marked, Jonathan Milan was the first to attack today and as a fruit of his efforts came 12 points.
It won't make a massive difference in the current scheme, but in a three-week race, it can often come down to such a gap. The 66-point difference has been shorted to 54.

King of the Mountains Standings after Stage 7

Diego Pablo Sevilla joined the day's breakaway and went on to capture another 18 points to his tally. The Polti rider did what he had to successfully, however the math did not favour him. With 50 points available on the summit finish to Blockhaus, Jonas Vingegaard took them and with that, the lead.
It is a short one, only with 1 point advantage, which means that we may see Sevilla in the breakaway once more this Saturday to try and capture the blue jersey one more time.

Youth Classification Standings after Stage 7

Eulálio will remain in the pink jersey, but the white jersey on stage 8 will be worn by the new second place Giulio Pellizzari. On paper, the Italian would have little competition. But Mathys Rondel of Tudor did not finish far from him, and is only 28 seconds away from the the Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe rider. However as it stands, Eulálio should remain in the lead for a long time.
