Dylan Teuns to miss Vuelta a Andalucia due to Covid-19 infection

As the number of Covid-19 cases keep piling on in the peloton the most recent victim is Dylan Teuns who has tested positive and will also miss the Spanish race.

After Jakob Fuglsang and Vincenzo Nibali, between many more, tested positive for Covid, the startlist of the Vuelta a Andalucia misses another of it's major riders, with Alejandro Valverde also absent due to team protocols. The Belgian rider won the race back in 2020 and was set to be a part of a very strong Bahrain - Victorious lineup which includes Mikel Landa, Damiano Caruso, Jack Haig and Wout Poels.

There are at least nine numbers that were attributed to riders that will not be at the startline of the Vuelta a Andalucia. After the Volta a Comunitat Valenciana had an outbreak with several teams abandoning the race, the cases keep spreading within the Spanish calendar.
