Dylan Teuns puts main focus on Tour of Flanders, Ardennes classics in 2024

Israel - Premier Tech has had an incredible start to the season at the Tour Down Under as Stephen Williams conquered the ochre jersey. The Israeli squad are looking to keep their success going throughout the upcoming months, and are betting on Dylan Teuns to perform in the spring classics.

The Belgian rider moved over in the middle of the 2022 season and has since become a headliner. Last season however he struggled to find his best level and has taken up a secondary role in the team. The 31-year old is looking to bounce back in 2024 and his schedule will be in build-up towards the Ardennes classics - although he will also race the Tour of Flanders in search of a strong result.

Teuns starts his season with the Classic Var on the 16th of February, and the next morning will start the Tour des Alpes Maritimes et du Var. It is another French start for Teuns, who will hope to gather some form towards Omloop Het Nieuwsblad. A long period without racing will follow where he will most likely look to build his form and go on a training camp, he returns to action at the Volta a Catalunya on the 18th of March.

He will not race any of the cobbled classics directly anticipating Flanders, but will be one of the team's leaders in the second monument of the year. Afterwards, he will race the Ardennes tryptic. It is unknown at the time being which Grand Tour he will put his focus on, but most likely a comeback to the Tour de France will take place as one of the team's pristine stage hunters.
