Dylan Groenewegen is having a secondary calendar to finish his season, taking a lot of UCI points that are helping Team BikeExchange - Jayco secure their position in the World Tour, however he hasn't succeeded in taking meaningful wins since the Tour de France.
“It’s a busy end to the season and we’ve shown good form in recent races, but have missed out on the kind of result we want and which our efforts have deserved," Groenewegen said in a press release from the Australian team. "Now we have a chance to finish strong and we’ll be targeting big results across these races."
Now, the Dutchman will finish his season this week following three different classics where he will try to get a win to wrap off his season. He will be racing the Sparkassen Münsterland Giro, Paris - Bourges and Memorial Rik van Steenbergen.
"I’m looking forward to giving it everything over the next week and with the team we have I’m confident we can have something to celebrate," he concluded. This year Groenewegen took a win at the Tour de France, and in some secondary races such as the Arctic Race of Norway, Saudi Tour, Tour of Slovenia, Tour de Hongrie and the Veenendaal-Veenendaal Classic.
