The Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux team will be aiming high at the Canadian classics, and it will be led by Eritrean Biniam Girmay who will find suiting profiles that fit in his classics-style type of racing.
Girmay has shown good form lately with a sixth place on the Bretagne Classic and fourth at the Tour du Doubs. He is building up towards the World Championships where he will be an outsider, and he will be looking to not only sharpen his form in North America, but also look for strong results. Andrea Pasqualon will be a second option in Québec whilst Georg Zimmermann is certain to be an outsider for Montréal mainly.
The trio will have the support of classics specialists Loïc Vliegen and Sven Erik Bystrom, whilst Théo Delacroix and Baptiste Planckaert complete the lineup.
Intermarché - Wanty - Gobert Matériaux for GP de Québec & GP de Montréal: Biniam Girmay, Sven Erik Bystrom, Théo Delacroix, Andrea Pasqualon, Baptiste Planckaert, Loïc Vliegen and Georg Zimmermann.
