The Lotto Cycling Team is the third-to-last team to announce it's Tour de France lineup, and in it's '8' are the expected the riders. The Belgian team will be looking to net stage wins, mostly through their two homegrown talents Arnaud de Lie and Lennert van Eetvelt.
The lineup features van Eetvelt as the team's great prospect for the hilly and mountainous stages. The Belgian had already previously talked about how he wouldn't come to the Tour with goals of participating in the battle for the overall classification, but instead chase wins. With some purposeful time loss, he can get freedom to join breakaways from early on in the race.
The 23-year old hasn't shown his best form recently, but impressed immensely last year and showed what he could reach when on his best form. Eduardo Sepúlveda and Sébastien Grignard will also be looking towards the more mountainous terrain, whilst Jenno Berckmoes and Brent van Moer will be interesting breakaway hunters on the hilly days.
The team will also be backing up Arnaud De Lie as a potential stage winner. The sprinter has a love for the hilly terrain and explosive finales and after using the Tour de Suisse as climbing preparation for the Tour, he could well be at the front in the first week's many explosive finales in the Hauts-de-France, Normandie and Bretagne.
He should also take part in the pure bunch sprints in search of results and even potentially the green jersey, in which case he will be supported by Jasper de Buyst and Jarrad Drizners. After Lotto, only INEOS Grenadiers and EF Education-EasyPost have not yet announced their lineup for the race.
