Adam Yates and João Almeida team up for Volta a Catalunya assault

João Almeida finished 2nd in Tirreno-Adriatico and has big ambitions for Giro d'Italia, will lead the UAE Team Emirates in Volta a Catalunya, which has also the presence of Adam Yates who is always an important GC contender for this type of race.
The team goes to Catalunya with a strong support squad around them with Rafal Majka, George Bennett, and Marc Soler's presence, we can expect the leather to have a free role on the team and hunt for stages.

- He was supposed to race Tour + Vuelta, but since Pogacar and Vingegaard are going there, he changed to Giro + Tour (just to try to win the yellow jersey at the 1st week and the ITT probably). Against Roglic he has a bit more chances in Italy. Press will consider him as the favourite anyways, as usual. Other contenders not to underestimate will be Ayuso and Jorgenson.
