- As I wrote once before, there is nothing special about Van Aert's ride to Montmartre.
Quite the opposite, Pogačar's ride in the final stage of the TDF is special.
A man who, tired and injured, in the rain and on slippery surfaces, with the overall victory assured, puts on such a show (unlike his rival Jonas).
Just imagine if Pogi had ridden that final stage like Jonas, what would we be talking about today? About Wout's phenomenal ride?
I don't think so!
- Sarcasm.
- I'd say at this stage he's probably happy to just get any contract in the WT, even if it means a less than ideal position to go for individual wins.
- Froome can form a one-man team with all the money IPT p*ssed away on him.
- Its a wrong team. We have Ayuso, who dont share and who dont support. We have Skejlmose who thinks he is the topshot at the team. We have Milan and Mads who demand significant team resources to win stages. We a;so have Tao who is in limbo. Now add Gee to the mix and its a explosive mixture. Good for Drama, not for performance
- 100%
- yes Ayuso could be an outstanding rider for the team he has the ability alright just hope his temperament changes... would luv to see Lidl Trek win a GT. I think Ayuso would luv nothing more than beating his old team.
- Exactly. With the 30 million they want Gee to pay them, they will be able to lock up Froome’s services.
- Some comments deserve the option to downvote.
- Exactly... you got my point :)
