Tobias Johannessen is one of the uprising talents in the peloton and this week he will be facing once again the big names of the World Tour peloton, leading Uno-X Pro Cycling Team as a lineup to take into consideration for the overall classification.
Johannessen has just came out of his home race the Tour of Norway, and now straight into another mountainous race which should suit his abilities. The 22-year old won the Tour de l'Avenir last year, and this year took no time to debut his winning ways at the Etoile de Bessèges. He finished in seventh place at the Volta a Catalunya where he was an aggressive figure in the final days of the race, and has recently finished fourth in the Tour of Norway - having led the race for a day and finished second twice.
