Jonas Gregaard among riders leaving Uno-X at the end of the season

Uno-X has been very busy on the transfer market in recent weeks: the Norwegian formation has already strengthened itself with, among others, Magnus Cort, Andreas Leknessund and Jonas Hvideberg. However, there is also the (imminent) departure of several Danish riders.

According to the Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet, Lasse Norman Leth, Jonas Gregaard, Niklas Eg and Jacob Hindsgaul are on their way to the exit. These riders have an expiring contract and have to look for another employer. Niklas Larsen is also on the seesaw: the 26-year-old rider also has an expiring contract, but it is still unclear whether he should also leave.

It is striking that Gregaard and Uno-X are going to separate ways. The 27-year-old climber managed to get into the spotlight several times this year. With his attacking way of racing he won the mountain jersey in Paris-Nice. He was also part of the Uno-X selection for the Tour de France. Gregaard eventually finished 43rd in the French round. The Dane would not have signed anywhere else for the time being.

Ekstra Bladet has asked the Uno-X team management for a response, but the management is currently refraining from commenting. The formation currently has 27 riders under contract for 2024. Uno-X has great ambitions for the coming years. At the next WorldTour cycle in 2026, team manager Jens Haugland's troops want to advance to the highest level.
