Ceylin del Carmen Alvarado has been on a great run of form throughout the past few weeks but finds an untimely obstacle. The leader of the women's Superprestige and World Cup is forced to miss a round of each competition this weekend due to illness.
Alpecin-Deceuninck announced that as they revealed their lineups for this weekend's races. Whilst in the World Cup she will remain leader - although inevitably with a shorter lead - in the Superprestige, the likes of Annemarie Worst and Aniek van Alphen have a shot at jumping to first place as the standings are tighter.
