Puck Pieterse is one of the brightest young stars in women's cycling. After a breakthrough season on the road in 2024, the Dutch multi-discipline star has now confirmed her programme for the ongoing cyclocross campaign this winter.
Last year, Pieterse was one of the few women to really be able to challenge the all-conquering Fem van Empel. In fact, the world champion only failed to take victory in two of her races the entire 2023 / 2024 season, with Pieterse coming away with the win on both occasions at the UCI World Cup races in Gavere and Hulst.
This time around, Pieterse gets her campaign underway on the 15th of December in Hulst, kicking off a busy festive period for the 22-year-old Dutch prodigy including stops of in Hulst (21st of December), Zonhoven (22nd of December), Gavere (26th of December), Superprestige Diegem (30th of December), GP Sven Nys (January 1st), Flemish Dune Cross (January 3rd) and the World Cup in Dendermonde (January 5th).
After a week off following Dendermonde, Pieterse then turns her attention to the Dutch National Championships (January 12th), a title she has previously taken victory in 2023, before a trio of World Cup events in Benidorm (January 19th), Maasmechelen (January 25th) and Hoogerheide (January 26th), before finishing the campaign with another World Championship tilt.
