Giro d'Italia: Israel - Premier Tech select Michael Woods, Ethan Vernon and Nick Schultz in pursuit of glory

Israel - Premier Tech have shared their lineup for the Giro d'Italia and they include riders who will seek stage wins. The overall classification is an unlikely goal, with Michael Woods being the team's headliner who can possibly aim for both.

Woods has won stages at the Tour de France and Giro d'Italia, and now will look to complete the treble of Grand Tour triumphs. Because of this, and the large amount of time-trialing kilometers, it is unlikely that the Canadian will aim for the GC even if he has his best form - which has not been the case this year.

The team will back up Ethan Vernon for the race's sprints; the Briton won on his first outing with the Israeli team this year at the Tour des Alpes Maritimes. Hugo Hofstetter and Riley Pickrell - who won stages at both under-23 Giro d'Italia and Tour de France last year - will support him in the leadouts.

Nick Schultz also won the first stage of the Volta a Catalunya - ahead of Tadej Pogacar - and will be an option for the hilly days; Marco Frigo and Simon Clarke will also eye these stages. Israeli Nadav Raisberg completes the lineup.
