A strong outing in the home opening World Cup surely gives lots of confidence to Belgian national team who will attempt to confirm themselves as kings of men's cyclocross in Dublin.
Belgian men will be the main atraction in the World Cup round in Dublin. After an absolute dominance in Antwerpen with an astonishing 1-2-3-4-5, and with open disputes between some of the factory teams, the main dish of Sunday's afternoon promises to be quite an enjoyable event. Despite defeat in last weekend, Thibau Nys remains the favourite while Pauwels Sauzen - Bingoal riders Eli Iserbyt and Michael Vanthourenhout will try to outfox the European Champion again. Alpecin rider Niels Vandeputte (5th in Antwerpen) is absent.

With 9th place from Laura Verdonschot in Antwerpen, there's not really reason to expect a Belgian outbreak in Ireland either.
