- Theres obvious somethnig very rotten going on at Visma now. I agree with Cort here andIve heard alot of people say the same Jonas should leave Visma for UNO-X. Think it would do him alot of good for his career.
- yes thats a huge part of their problem but nevertheless is the case too so yeah it is what it is kinda thing. They need money or its gonne just get worse i think
- I agree completely.
If people watch Burgos’ long-duration highlights , they can see Nairo working for Mas until he was spent … and he still got 18th on GC.
- It’s pretty hard to find big sponsors for cycling if you prefer to avoid nation states, petrochemicals, betting, etc. Remember, tobacco and alcohol are no longer allowed but I think anyone can see the problem. No hard working company can afford to risk of ploughing that much money into an irrelevant venture.
- Austin Powers, obviously. Explains so much.
- THAT shouldn’t be the news of this stage, what about the latest near fatal car encounter?
- Gravel too!
- Visma took a GT and a monument this year, stages in another GT, multiple one day races and one week tours.
Every team except UAE dream of this year.
- Hard to believe Nairo wouldn't be a better bet than whoever the worst/weakest rider that Movistar sends in his place. The guy's past his prime sure but he is not grupetto material like late stage Froome.
And Movistar would have gotten great visibility and press coverage for the legend of the past doing his last Vuelta...
Bad decision IMO
- Rider for rider I see no team close to UAE in the mountains once again just like TDF. Pogacar, Vine and Almeida (maybe 100% but even if not 100%) like noone close to this in the vuelta even so.
Gonne end up UAE dominating again and winning most stages with several guys like usual.
