After many years of controversy, 2022 will finally see live TV broadcast of the Women's Tour, set to take place in Great Britain. One of the main Women's World Tour events, it brings in luxurious startlist every year, now to be seen by fans from all over the World and expand the exposure for the women's peloton.
Eurosport and GCN are set to broadcast the race, which will see the riders traverse central Great Britain. The event will start on the sixth of June in Colchester and finish in Oxford six days later. The likes of Lorena Wiebes, Ellen van Dijk and Elisa Longo Borghini are between the many big names that should be in competition.
Demi Vollering won the 2021 edition after a demolishing performance in the individual time-trial, whilst the remaining stages saw a sprinter-fest which is set to be replicated this year.
