The first red jersey of the 2026 Vuelta a Espana will be decided immediately in Monaco, where a 9.4-kilometer individual time trial opens a race featuring more than 58,000 meters of climbing, repeated summit finishes, and a second race against the clock later in the final week.
This live classifications hub will be updated after every stage with the latest General Classification, Points Classification, Mountains Classification, and Best Young Rider standings, tracking the fight for the red, green, polka-dot, and white jerseys from Stage 1 on August 22 through to the final stage in Granada on September 13.
The overall battle will be shaped by repeated opportunities for the climbers, from the early Pyrenean and Andorran tests to Calar Alto, Sierra de la Pandera, Penas Blancas, and the decisive Collado del Alguacil. The two individual time trials and bonus seconds provide further chances for the gaps between the main contenders to change.
Sprint finishes and intermediate sprints will drive the points competition, breakaways can quickly transform the mountains' standings, and the white jersey will develop alongside many of the same stages that decide the general classification. Each update will show the latest standings after the day's racing and highlight the important changes across all four competitions.

Final General Classification Standings after Stage 21
There were no changes inside the top 10 on the final stage, leaving Mas as the overall winner in a final time of 73:52:55. Roglic finished second at 2:15, with Gall completing the podium another 29 seconds behind. Richard Carapaz was fourth at 6:54, while Sepp Kuss retained the fifth place he had dramatically claimed on Stage 20.
Onley finished sixth at 9:28, 1:10 ahead of Jakob Omrzel in seventh. Clement Berthet, Cristian Rodriguez and Harold Tejada completed the final top 10.
Mas' victory brought an end to his long wait for a Grand Tour title after three previous runner-up finishes at the Vuelta.

Final Points Classification Standings after Stage 21
Van Aert completed the Vuelta with 326 points to take the green jersey, finishing 53 clear of Brennan. The Visma pair dominated the stage victories during the race, with Brennan winning five times and Van Aert twice.
Alessandro Romele's second place in Granada helped him finish third in the points standings on 216, comfortably ahead of Bryan Coquard on 141.
Stage 21 winner Tobias Halland Johannessen climbed two positions to ninth on 104 points, while Bastien Tronchon rose three places to complete the top 10.

Final King of the Mountains Classification Standings after Stage 21
Santiago Buitrago finished the race with 78 points to secure the mountains classification. Van Aert was his nearest challenger on 62, while Andreas Leknessund finished a distant third on 36.

Final Youth Classification Standings after Stage 21
Onley completed the Vuelta as the best young rider after finishing sixth overall. The Netcompany INEOS leader ended the race 1:10 ahead of Omrzel, who nevertheless leaves the Vuelta with seventh overall and a stage victory at Calar Alto.
Leo Bisiaux was third at 15:35, with Juan Felipe Rodriguez fourth and Embret Svestad-Bardseng fifth.
