Stage 16 of the Giro d'Italia 2025 has started with very heavy rain. The road is not sparing anyone, and INEOS Grenadiers is being hit the hardest by the conditions.
After an initial crash of Thymen Arensman, who was able to recover, Joshua Tarling has suffered a pretty hard crash. The Briton was in the leading group, and went to the ground to crash into a road guardrail.
Tarling's withdrawal from the Giro d'Italia has been confirmed. From CyclingUpToDate we want to send him our best wishes and a speedy recovery. You can watch the incident down below.
