The seemingly inevitable attack of Tadej Pogacar on La Redoute has come at Liege-Bastogne-Liege 2024. With 35km to go, the Slovenian has decided the time is right to make his move.

Richard Carapaz was able to follow initially but soon, even the Ecuadorian was dropped as Pogacar powered clear solo.
